• We heard back from First Alaskans Institute, “We are delighted to hear that your organization has gravitated towards our shared agreements and want to confirm with you that you are more than welcome to use them. The purpose of the agreements is to share it widely, so feel free!”

• Discovered that the website shows differently in different browsers: 
• Chrome vs. Firefox vs. Safari vs Ecocia. Seems to work best in Chrome. 
• Feedback on liking the blog format for minutes and how the website is designed. 
• People will show website to friends to get some additional feedback. Put feedback in discord if you cannot make it to zoom. 
• Moving next week’s meeting to 1pm 

Worked on the mobile version of the website. Did some layout and continued to edit and update the website and survey before public launch.

Talked a bit about the AIDEA plan to sell out Juneau’s renewable energy credits.

First review of draft website content prior to release of survey.

Discussed HR3040 which could repeal RCV at the federal level and put the brakes on this effort to create a new party.

Reviewed the 3 test survey results for how data is looking and more edits:

• What ideas do you have to improve your current party?
• A new Alaska party would give me more options when voting (scale)

• Residency tied to limited contractual/education term 
• Plan to leave Alaska 

Idea to do minutes as blog posts to make easy for people to read/catch up

Facilitator Role

• Designation of facilitator role at beginning of meeting
• Acknowledge participants who have been silent and encouraging them to speak up
• Timekeeping to ensure that one person isn’t dominating the discussion
• De-escalate when conversation becomes 
• Recapping what has been going on 
• Help people understand each other. Repeat back. 

To Do: Reach out to First Alaskan Institute about use of meeting agreements structure and possibility for facilitator training.

Discussed a collective notetakers role and the process of designating a note-taker.
